波德申中华中学再传喜讯！ 学校正式获得“7个习惯自我领导力灯塔学校”（The Leader in Me Lighthouse School）国际认证，成为马来西亚第三所获此殊荣的学校，为112年的教育传承写下崭新篇章。

短短三年间，波中积极推动“7个习惯”教育，将自我领导力融入校园文化与日常教学，致力于培养学生主动负责、积极思考、勇于担当的精神。此次获得国际认证，不仅肯定了学校的努力与成果，也展现了全校师生共同成长的力量。

Third School in Malaysia to Receive This Prestigious Recognition, Marking a New Milestone in Its 112-Year Educational Journey

SMCHPD is celebrating a remarkable achievement! The school has officially been awarded the international “The Leader in Me Lighthouse School” certification, becoming the third school in Malaysia to receive this prestigious recognition and marking a new milestone in its 112-year educational journey.

Over the past three years, SMCHPD has actively implemented The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People programme, integrating self-leadership into its school culture and daily teaching practices. The initiative aims to nurture students who are proactive, responsible, confident and ready to take on leadership roles. This international recognition affirms the school’s dedication and the collective efforts of its entire school community.

Behind this achievement lies the unwavering support and commitment of many individuals. The school extends its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Chia Song Kun, Chairman of Pin Hwa High School; Principal Ms. Goh Lay Kee; Vice Principal Ms. Khiew Fet Kim; the 7 Habits team; and Mdm. Saras for their invaluable guidance. Special appreciation also goes to SMCHPD Chairman Mr. Tok Hong Soon and the Board of Directors for their steadfast support, as well as Vice Principals Ms. Hiap Wei Wei and Head of Academic Affairs Ms. Loo Siew Theng, all teachers, staff, students and parents for their dedication and teamwork.

The implementation of The 7 Habits programme has also brought fresh momentum to the school’s development. Enrolment for Form One in 2027 has reached its full capacity of 160 students across four classes, with the school exploring the possibility of opening a fifth class to accommodate more students.

Building on 112 years of educational heritage and now strengthened by international recognition, SMCHPD remains committed to nurturing self-leadership, unlocking students’ potential and shaping future generations with strong character, a sense of responsibility and leadership qualities.

诚邀小学五、六年级学生参与体验跨学科学习

为推广跨学科学习理念，激发学生的学习兴趣与探索精神，波德申中华中学将于 2026年10月31日（星期六）上午8时30分至下午1时30分 举办「奇幻跨科趣味营」，诚邀各校五年级及六年级学生踊跃报名参加。

本次活动以跨学科学习为主轴，结合趣味、互动与实践元素，让学生在轻松愉快的学习环境中接触不同领域的知识，并通过活动与挑战培养观察、思考、沟通、协作及解决问题等能力。

波中期望通过此次趣味营，为小学高年级学生提供一个探索与交流的平台，让学生在“做中学、玩中学”的过程中，体验跨学科学习的乐趣，同时进一步认识中学阶段多元而丰富的学习方式。

为提升教师数位教学能力与多媒体教材设计素养，波德申中华中学（波中）委派教师于2026年9月26日至27日赴南方大学学院，参与由董总举办的「AI动画制作工作坊」，探索人工智能融入课堂教学的实际应用。

本次工作坊由张家铭老师主讲，采用「讲师示范＋学员实作」模式，引导教师运用豆包AI、Google Gemini、即梦AI（Dreamina AI）及剪映（CapCut）等工具，从教学脚本、图像生成、动画制作至影音剪辑，逐步完成AI教学视频。

工作坊特别注重实作成果。参训教师须在两天内独立设计并完成一部约2分钟的创意教学视频，将所学AI技术转化为实际的课堂教学资源。

AI动画的应用，有助于教师将抽象概念、复杂知识及较难以文字呈现的内容，转化为生动直观的视觉教材。通过更丰富的影音与动画元素，学生能够以不同方式接触学习内容，提升课堂参与度，并加深对知识的理解。

此次研习也让教师进一步掌握快速制作数位教材的能力，为日后的备课与教学创新提供更多可能。未来，波中教师将把所学带回校园，结合各学科教学需求，持续开发更贴近学生学习特点的数位资源。

此外，优秀教学成果也可进一步参与董总「E启学」数位学习资源建设，让教师的专业学习转化为可共享的教学资源，惠及更多学生。

科技不断更新，教育也持续前行。波中将持续推动教师专业成长与数位教学发展，让AI成为教师教学创新的助力，为学生打造更丰富、更直观、更具创意的学习体验。

兹通知所有已完成 2027年度波中线上报名申请 的初一新生，本校将于 2026年9月26日（星期六） 举行 2027年度初一基本能力评估考试。

请注意：无论新生是否已获得录取通知，均必须参加此次评估考试。

配合国庆日（Hari Kebangsaan）与马来西亚日（Hari Malaysia）的庆祝，波德申中华中学日前举办一系列以“马来西亚”为主题的校园活动，让学生通过创意创作与诗歌朗诵，认识国家、表达情感，并展现属于年轻一代的马来西亚精神。

其中，《马来西亚创意模型展》于9月21日在开放礼堂举行。学生发挥丰富的想象力与动手能力，以马来西亚为创作主题，设计及制作各具特色的立体模型。作品融入国家地标、建筑、文化及马来西亚特色元素，展现学生对国家多元文化与身份认同的观察与理解。

除了视觉创作，学校也于9月10日举办独立主题诗歌朗诵比赛（Pertandingan Deklamasi Sajak Bertemakan Kemerdekaan），开放予初中一至高一学生参加。学生通过诗歌朗诵，以声音、情感与肢体表达对独立、国家与和平的理解，在舞台上展现自信与语言表达能力。

从模型创作到诗歌朗诵，学生以不同方式诠释心中的马来西亚，让“爱国”不只是一个主题，而成为可以看见、听见并亲身体验的学习过程。

本系列活动特别感谢 Ms. Meetrra 老师及国文组老师的悉心指导与付出。从活动筹备、学生参与到作品及舞台表现，老师给予学生充分的鼓励与引导，让学生勇于发挥创意、表达想法，并在参与中发现自己的潜能。

Celebrating Malaysia Through Creativity and Expression

In conjunction with the celebration of Hari Kebangsaan and Hari Malaysia, school organised a series of Malaysia-themed activities, providing students with opportunities to express their creativity, strengthen their communication skills and explore what Malaysia means to them.

One of the highlights was the Malaysia Model Creation Exhibition, held on 21 September at the Open Hall. Students transformed their ideas of Malaysia into creative three-dimensional models, incorporating national landmarks, architecture, cultural elements and other distinctive features of the country.

Through designing and constructing their models, students demonstrated not only creativity and imagination, but also hands-on skills, teamwork and their understanding of Malaysia’s diverse cultural identity.

The celebration also featured the Pertandingan Deklamasi Sajak Bertemakan Kemerdekaan, a Merdeka-themed poetry recitation competition held on 10 September. Open to students from Junior 1 to Senior 1, the competition provided a platform for students to express their thoughts and feelings about independence, Malaysia and peace through poetry, voice and performance.

From visual art to spoken expression, these activities allowed students to celebrate Malaysia in different ways. More importantly, they encouraged students to learn about national identity while developing confidence, creativity and communication skills.

Special appreciation goes to Ms. Meetrra and BM teachers for their dedicated guidance and encouragement throughout the activities. They support helped students develop their ideas, step out of their comfort zones and confidently showcase their talents.

Creativity is the language of youth; culture is our shared memory; and Malaysia is our shared home.

Through creativity and youthful expression, our students continue to write their own Malaysian stories.
