以创意歌颂马来西亚——波中学生展现青春想象与爱国情怀

配合国庆日（Hari Kebangsaan）与马来西亚日（Hari Malaysia）的庆祝，波德申中华中学日前举办一系列以“马来西亚”为主题的校园活动，让学生通过创意创作与诗歌朗诵，认识国家、表达情感，并展现属于年轻一代的马来西亚精神。

其中，《马来西亚创意模型展》于9月21日在开放礼堂举行。学生发挥丰富的想象力与动手能力，以马来西亚为创作主题，设计及制作各具特色的立体模型。作品融入国家地标、建筑、文化及马来西亚特色元素，展现学生对国家多元文化与身份认同的观察与理解。

除了视觉创作，学校也于9月10日举办独立主题诗歌朗诵比赛（Pertandingan Deklamasi Sajak Bertemakan Kemerdekaan），开放予初中一至高一学生参加。学生通过诗歌朗诵，以声音、情感与肢体表达对独立、国家与和平的理解，在舞台上展现自信与语言表达能力。

从模型创作到诗歌朗诵，学生以不同方式诠释心中的马来西亚，让“爱国”不只是一个主题，而成为可以看见、听见并亲身体验的学习过程。

本系列活动特别感谢 Ms. Meetrra 老师及国文组老师的悉心指导与付出。从活动筹备、学生参与到作品及舞台表现，老师给予学生充分的鼓励与引导，让学生勇于发挥创意、表达想法，并在参与中发现自己的潜能。

创意，是青春的语言；文化，是共同的记忆；马来西亚，是我们共同的家。

Celebrating Malaysia Through Creativity and Expression

In conjunction with the celebration of Hari Kebangsaan and Hari Malaysia, school organised a series of Malaysia-themed activities, providing students with opportunities to express their creativity, strengthen their communication skills and explore what Malaysia means to them.

One of the highlights was the Malaysia Model Creation Exhibition, held on 21 September at the Open Hall. Students transformed their ideas of Malaysia into creative three-dimensional models, incorporating national landmarks, architecture, cultural elements and other distinctive features of the country.

Through designing and constructing their models, students demonstrated not only creativity and imagination, but also hands-on skills, teamwork and their understanding of Malaysia’s diverse cultural identity.

The celebration also featured the Pertandingan Deklamasi Sajak Bertemakan Kemerdekaan, a Merdeka-themed poetry recitation competition held on 10 September. Open to students from Junior 1 to Senior 1, the competition provided a platform for students to express their thoughts and feelings about independence, Malaysia and peace through poetry, voice and performance.

From visual art to spoken expression, these activities allowed students to celebrate Malaysia in different ways. More importantly, they encouraged students to learn about national identity while developing confidence, creativity and communication skills.

Special appreciation goes to Ms. Meetrra and BM teachers for their dedicated guidance and encouragement throughout the activities. They support helped students develop their ideas, step out of their comfort zones and confidently showcase their talents.

Creativity is the language of youth; culture is our shared memory; and Malaysia is our shared home.

森华接生会于今日举行第92届常年会员大会暨教育捐款移交仪式，今年慷慨捐出55万令吉，惠及4所原有中学及8所其他中小学校，以实际行动支持华文教育的发展。

波德申中华中学有幸成为受惠学校之一，获捐10万令吉，由本校财政苏金记及署理董事长林玉清代表学校接领。

一笔捐款，是一份支持；一份爱心，是一份责任。

《形》立体造型美术展｜以学习为始，以成果为终，看见每一个独特的“形”

“形”，代表着形态，也代表着每一个独一无二的存在。近日，波德申中华中学美术课程呈现《形》立体造型美术展，学生以立体创作诉说自己的观察、感受与想法，让艺术成为看见自己、表达自己的方式。

这场展览不仅是一场美术作品的展示，更是一段从“学习”走向“成果”的实践历程。学生从课堂学习与创作开始，在颜冠军美术老师的指导下，逐步探索立体造型的技巧、概念与表现方式，并在一次次尝试、修改与完善中，将构想化为具体作品。

从“七个习惯”的实践来看，学生在筹备过程中展现了主动积极、以终为始及统合综效的自我领导力。他们不只是等待老师安排，而是主动参与、主动思考、主动解决问题；以成果展为目标，从作品创作、布置规划到展场呈现，一步一步朝共同目标前进；同时透过彼此分工、沟通与合作，将个人创意汇聚成完整的艺术展览。

当一件件作品最终呈现在校园空间，学生看见的不只是自己的创作成果，也看见了努力、坚持、合作与成长的轨迹。

感谢颜冠军美术老师一路以来的悉心指导与陪伴，也感谢同学们从学习出发，以行动实践，把一场属于自己的立体造型美术展一步步实现。

以学习为开始，以成果展为成果；以艺术看见自己，也让真实的自己被看见。

《形》所呈现的，不只是作品的形态，更是波中学子在学习中主动成长、在合作中彼此成就的真实模样。

“欢迎来到波中！”一句句热情的问候、一张张真诚的笑脸，波德申中华中学师生于17日以满满的热情，迎接来自美国总部审核员 Miss Brooke、马来西亚审核员 Dr. Murthy，以及指导老师 Madam Saras莅临学校进行考察。

考察从学生主导的周会展开，学生代表分享有关自我领导力与学习生活、24节令鼓，以及初二智班以“团结、协作与和谐”为主题的合唱朗诵演出，展现学生主动参与、勇于表达及团队协作的力量。

随后，审核团队走访校园，与学生进行高效能手册分享及访谈，并与学生灯塔团队交流；同时走入课堂，观察学生学习表现。

从学生主动承担，到教师陪伴引导；从课堂学习，到校园交流，师生以真实行动诠释“7个习惯”所倡导的自我领导力——学会领导自己、承担责任、主动沟通，并在合作中共同成长。

此次考察不仅是一次检视，更是一场真诚的交流与学习。波中师生用热情迎接来宾，也用行动让人看见：习惯，从来不只是理念，而是每天一次次主动选择与实践。

Building Ourselves Through the 7 Habits | SMCHPD Welcomes the 7 Habits Review Team and Showcases Self-Leadership

“Welcome to SMCHPD!” With warm greetings and bright smiles, the students and staff of Port Dickson Chinese Independent High School enthusiastically welcomed Miss Brooke, Reviewer from the 7 Habits Headquarters in the United States; Dr. Murthy, the Malaysian Reviewer; and Madam Saras, the school’s 7 Habits coach, who visited the school on 17 September 2026 for a review.

The review began with a student-led assembly. Student representatives delivered speeches, followed by a 24-Festival Drums performance and a Choral Speaking presentation by Class J2Zhi, themed “Unity, Synergy and Harmony.” The activities showcased students’ initiative, confidence in expressing themselves and ability to work collaboratively.

The review team then toured the school and engaged students in sharing sessions and interviews on their *Leadership Notebooks, as well as interacting with the *Student Lighthouse Team. The team also visited classrooms to observe students’ learning experiences.

From students taking initiative to teachers providing guidance pand support, from classroom learning to meaningful interactions, the school community demonstrated the essence of self-leadership advocated by the 7 Habits — learning to lead oneself, take responsibility, communicate proactively and grow together through collaboration.

The review was not merely an assessment, but also an opportunity for sincere exchange and learning. Through their warm welcome and genuine engagement, the students and staff of SMCHPD demonstrated that the 7 Habits are more than ideas or principles; they are daily choices put into action, helping every individual become a better version of themselves.

月圆一舍，情聚波中——宿舍里的中秋夜，点亮属于“家”的温暖

“今晚，我们一起过中秋。”

对许多离家住宿的波中学生而言，中秋节，也许少了一桌与家人围坐的团圆饭，却因为身边有老师、有同学、有朝夕相处的舍友，而多了一份校园里的别样温暖。

9月16日（星期三）晚间，波德申中华中学宿舍在礼堂举办《月圆一舍·同庆大马》宿舍中秋晚会。随着灯光亮起、歌声响起，一场属于波中住宿生的中秋聚会，也正式拉开序幕。

晚会由筹委会主席廖得凯致词，并安排颁奖、歌手演出、庆生、全体合照、灯笼游行及茶点歌唱等环节。一个个节目、一张张笑脸，让平日一起上课、一起吃饭、一起生活的同学，在这个特别的夜晚留下更多共同的回忆。

其中，灯笼游行成为晚会最温馨的画面之一。学生提着灯笼，在夜色中结伴而行，点点灯火映照着青春的脸庞。有人谈笑，有人拍照，有人和舍友分享这一刻——原来，团圆不一定只发生在家里，也可以发生在校园里，发生在一群彼此陪伴的少年身边。

对于远离家乡、在宿舍生活的学生来说，宿舍不只是一个休息的地方，更是他们六年求学生涯中的另一个“家”。在这里，他们学习独立，也学习照顾彼此；一起经历考试的压力，也一起分享生活中的喜悦。

月圆，是自然的圆满；人聚，是青春最珍贵的时光。

这一晚，波中的礼堂没有距离，只有笑声；没有思乡的孤单，只有彼此陪伴的温暖。愿每一位住宿生都记得，在追逐梦想的路上，身边始终有一群人与自己同行。

月圆一舍，情聚波中。

这个中秋，我们不只赏月，更一起把“家”带在身边。
