美国、捷克AFS交换学生走进波中 寄宿家庭开启国际教育交流新篇章
波德申中华中学（CHPD）于2026年7月11日迎来一项别具意义的国际教育交流活动。来自美国与捷克共和国的10位AFS国际交换学生正式与波中寄宿家庭见面，并展开为期两星期的寄宿家庭文化体验。这项活动由马来西亚AFS国际文化交流组织（AFS Malaysia）专业策划与安排，旨在促进跨文化理解，培养学生的国际视野，并实践全球公民教育精神。
此次交流计划不仅让海外学生深入体验马来西亚多元文化与独中特色教育，也让波中学生与寄宿家庭透过共同生活、学习与交流，建立跨越国界的友谊，学习尊重文化差异、包容多元价值，并提升英语沟通及跨文化交流能力。
波德申中华中学一直重视国际教育的发展，积极为学生创造与世界接轨的学习机会。此次获AFS Malaysia选择成为合作学校，不仅是对学校教育理念的肯定，也展现波中致力推动国际教育交流的成果。学校相信，文化交流不仅是知识的分享，更是价值观与人生经验的互相学习，让学生在真实情境中培养国际素养。
欢迎仪式当天，出席者包括波中校长张永庆博士、副校长叶薇薇、辅导主任兼活动协调员林筱妹主任、英文科主任Karen老师、AFS Malaysia代表Kuhan，共同见证这一重要时刻。
此外，学校衷心感谢所有参与此次计划的寄宿家庭，愿意敞开家门，以真诚与关怀迎接远道而来的国际学生。波中也希望借此向美国与捷克学生的家长表达最诚挚的心意：“请放心，来到波中的每一位学生，我们都会视如己出，让他们感受到家的温暖，因为世界一家，教育无界。”

Bridging Cultures, Building Friendships
CHPD Welcomes AFS Exchange Students from the United States and the Czech Republic
On 11 July 2026, Chung Hua High School Port Dickson (CHPD) proudly welcomed 10 AFS exchange students from the United States and the Czech Republic to begin their homestay experience with CHPD host families. Organised by AFS Malaysia, this international exchange programme aims to promote intercultural understanding, global citizenship, and meaningful educational experiences through cultural immersion.
During their stay, the exchange students will experience Malaysian culture, local traditions, and the unique educational environment of Chinese Independent High Schools. At the same time, CHPD students and host families will gain valuable opportunities to interact with peers from different cultural backgrounds, broaden their global perspectives, strengthen their communication skills, and develop mutual respect and appreciation for cultural diversity.
As a school committed to nurturing globally minded students, CHPD continuously strives to provide authentic international learning opportunities. Being selected as a partner school by AFS Malaysia reflects the school’s commitment to international education and its dedication to preparing students for an increasingly interconnected world.
The welcoming ceremony was attended by Principal Dr. Chong Joon Kin, Vice Principal Mdm. Hiap Wei Wei, Programme Coordinator and Counselling Head Mdm. Lim Che Moi, Head of the English Department Karen, AFS Malaysia representative Kuhan, together with the CHPD host families and the exchange students.
CHPD extends its heartfelt appreciation to all host families for opening their homes and hearts to the visiting students. The school also wishes to reassure the parents of the students from the United States and the Czech Republic that every exchange student will be cared for with warmth, respect, and genuine hospitality throughout their stay. At CHPD, we firmly believe that education knows no boundaries, and the world is one family.
Moving forward, CHPD will continue to strengthen its international partnerships and create more opportunities for students to engage in meaningful global learning experiences, empowering them to become compassionate, culturally aware, and globally competent future leaders.
