波德申中华中学再传喜讯! 学校正式获得“7个习惯自我领导力灯塔学校”(The Leader in Me Lighthouse School)国际认证,成为马来西亚第三所获此殊荣的学校,为112年的教育传承写下崭新篇章。

短短三年间,波中积极推动“7个习惯”教育,将自我领导力融入校园文化与日常教学,致力于培养学生主动负责、积极思考、勇于担当的精神。此次获得国际认证,不仅肯定了学校的努力与成果,也展现了全校师生共同成长的力量。

这份荣誉的背后,凝聚着许多人的支持与付出。校方特别感谢滨华中学董事长谢松坤博士、吴丽琪校长、邱碧钦副校长及“7个习惯”团队的协助,以及Mdm. Saras的悉心指导。同时,感谢董事长卓鸿春及全体董事的鼎力支持,以及副校长叶薇薇、教务主任卢秀婷、全体教职员、学生与家长的共同努力。

“7个习惯”教育的推行也为波中注入新的发展动力。2027学年初一新生招生已达160人,4个班级额满,学校正积极筹备增开第五班的可能性。

Third School in Malaysia to Receive This Prestigious Recognition, Marking a New Milestone in Its 112-Year Educational Journey

SMCHPD is celebrating a remarkable achievement! The school has officially been awarded the international “The Leader in Me Lighthouse School” certification, becoming the third school in Malaysia to receive this prestigious recognition and marking a new milestone in its 112-year educational journey.

Over the past three years, SMCHPD has actively implemented The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People programme, integrating self-leadership into its school culture and daily teaching practices. The initiative aims to nurture students who are proactive, responsible, confident and ready to take on leadership roles. This international recognition affirms the school’s dedication and the collective efforts of its entire school community.

Behind this achievement lies the unwavering support and commitment of many individuals. The school extends its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Chia Song Kun, Chairman of Pin Hwa High School; Principal Ms. Goh Lay Kee; Vice Principal Ms. Khiew Fet Kim; the 7 Habits team; and Mdm. Saras for their invaluable guidance. Special appreciation also goes to SMCHPD Chairman Mr. Tok Hong Soon and the Board of Directors for their steadfast support, as well as Vice Principals Ms. Hiap Wei Wei and Head of Academic Affairs Ms. Loo Siew Theng, all teachers, staff, students and parents for their dedication and teamwork.

The implementation of The 7 Habits programme has also brought fresh momentum to the school’s development. Enrolment for Form One in 2027 has reached its full capacity of 160 students across four classes, with the school exploring the possibility of opening a fifth class to accommodate more students.

Building on 112 years of educational heritage and now strengthened by international recognition, SMCHPD remains committed to nurturing self-leadership, unlocking students’ potential and shaping future generations with strong character, a sense of responsibility and leadership qualities.
